Throughout my creative design career I’ve dealt with professional business people from all walks of life – from a Nuclear Engineer to a Florist, and everything in-between. In this time I’ve had exponential exposure to business pressures and regularly meet owners and directors of businesses to discuss their design needs.
I decided to reinvigorate my creative skills 16 months ago by taking a top-up Graphic Design Degree with the University of Hertfordshire. You will notice a few conceptual examples in my folio that were completed as part of this Degree. Some of my favourites are:
If you have a moment to view these projects, make sure you take a look at the development files. I had a great time using things like a 3D Printing pen with other interesting materials. Having studied for a Graphics HND many years ago, it was great to flex my creative muscles again this time around.
A typical day for me will involve travelling out to see clients to take briefs and check up on past work. I also send pharmaceutical marketing collateral to print for international delivery. I often work with start-ups to provide logos and websites, alongside my UX work. I believe in nurturing business relationships to add long-term sustainable value.
